Our Love Story

Unbeknownst to us...

It all started back in the mid 90's, I was hosting a public access television show on Ann Arbor Community Television Network called, "Get Curious with SafetyGirl". It was a safer sex-positive program. My Jesse had recently finished a 4-year stint in prison and was under home confinement living in his best friend's basement. One night he turned the channel, and I was on. 

He says he was captivated and couldn't believe what I was getting away with on public television. The next thing he did was to come down to the station and start volunteering as a set manager for the show. We worked together for three years.And we shared a platonic friendship for twenty years. I had no idea he was interested in dating me back then, he was always a class act. But he found his chance when I left my second husband in 2007.

Jesse is my wedding singer, rocker and crooner. He even sang at my other two marriages including our own. ;)

I never gave up on love, and I'm so darn blessed to have known that I deserved the best love could buy no matter how many frogs it took to get me to Jesse!

We have been together for 15 years and happily married for 12.
